As you stood there, staring at my yearning face
As I reviewed memories that never were, therefore impossible to erase
Your eyes entered mine in a blurry, undecifrable image
As much as I would try to, it wouldn't stay clear
Maybe from the distance I couldn't see you well from here
I attempted to scream your name, yet it vanished from my mind
So I tried to beckon you towards me in any way I could find
Grains of sand must've entered my eyes, as I felt a tear rolling down
And a shadow overtook my face cause I couldn't smile away the frown
Yet I tried to reach you, but you still seemed unaware
Of my efforts, of my desperate calling, acting like I wasn't there
And voices echoed in my head, you don't deserver her, and it isn't fair
Leaving me confused, dazed, trying to put down my pursue
Which had no goal other than at least be able to distinguish you
And still you ran, as if afraid of my me, my feelings screamed
In a hopeless and angered, ever so frustrated unendindg call
I was becoming overwhelmed and overcome by the fear that no one was there at all
