Hoje e Sempre

Um desvario...já não me dava há um tempo (se quiserem ponham o título que queiram,lol)

I woke up in a turmoil, upset by what you'd said to me
The sweat glued the clothes to my body, boiling with the heat
I had a turbulent sleep, filled with disturbing nightmares
Of me drowning in a dark puddle of deceit
I still felt your eyes stabbing me, swollen with the fake tears
I'd warn you, you wouldn't like what I had to say
But still I didn't stutter and made an effort for it to sound clear
Yet you tried to disguise your anger with a shallow sadness
We were both conscious of our shared responsability
For the ruining of what we had been building
Given that we'd realised its impossibility
And it wasn't worth the continued feeding
We reached the end we feared we utterly dreaded
But looking back at everything we had
The end was always there embedded
In both the good moments and bad
I hold no grudge, but it seems you will for some time
It's up to you to deal with it, it's the way you choose
Each one chooses the way one finds best, let life run its course
Somethings are just meant to be, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose
